Do your friends and family know you are trying to lose weight?
Yes and they are very supportive and most of them are trying to work on maintaining a healthy life style as well.
Have you ever been overweight or underweight?
I don’t think I have ever been underweight atleast not since I got my lady curves but I was at a healthy weight most of my life and now I am over weight.
Is there any specific event you want to lose the weight for?
Well the long story is that basically for the last 7-8 years I have not been taking care of myself and have grown less active and have eaten whatever and whenever I have wanted. Before this I was a serious ballet dancer and danced around 40 hours a week. This meant I lost my shape and gained about 60lbs, on a 5 ft frame this is serious. So I just want to be more conscious of eating healthily and living a more active life style. The short term goal is to loose weight for my wedding in March.
Day four: Do you work out? How many times a week?
This is something I need to work on, I was doing great going 2-4 times a week to crossfit but I had to put my membership on hold b/c my 2nd job needed me more, I am going to be gone for a week to Canada, I got sick, it was just to much money to not go. I try to walk, dance, etc. when I can but I have been on the lazy side and need to get this together. A work in progress. I am going to make a promise to myself to be active 3 times this week!
Day three: Do you count calories? What is your daily calorie goal/allowance?
I use Myfitnesspal.com to track my calories, My goal is 1200-1370/day.
Weekly goal update:
I have been doing pretty good, making myself conscious of whether or not I am actually hungry when I want to snack. So far so good.
Day two: What is your MAIN reason for wanting to lose weight?
I am not at a healthy weight for my body, want to change my overall feeling, psychology with eating.
PLUS I will be getting married in March :) and want to look my best.
Week One!
Weekly challenge: Pick one unhealthy food or habit you have (eg. Artificial sweetener, chocolate, eating after 8pm, skipping breakfast) and aim to go 7 days without eating/doing it.
Eating when I am not hungry, just because I am bored, somebody is offering, etc.
Day one: How tall are you, what do you currently weigh, and what do you hope to weigh after the 60 days? (Be realistic).
I am 5 ft nothin and I would like to weigh 150lbs after the 60 days, 10 lbs from where I am.
I created this challenge to keep me motivated to get in shape before an overseas holiday, but hopefully it will motivate you guys too! Feel free to reblog and join in!

So I have been reading lots of posts lately and people have mentioned their daily calories and I am so frustrated. I hate being short my daily caloric in take is set so much lower then everyone else’s and it is SO hard. But that is the life of a shorty. When I was at my most healthy w/a super low BMI I was still “heavy” for my height b/c I was basically all muscle from dancing over 40 hrs a week. Grrrrrrr….
